Axle is virtually a carbon copy of his sire in a smaller package.  A very balanced terrier, he has a truly elegant, narrow, clean front end, a small, flexible chest, beautiful topline and strong rear end.  He has Bear's loving disposition along with the keen hunting instincts this line line is known for.

And like Bear, Axle too has held together beautifully.  He still retains his flexible chest,  even at almost 7 years of age.  Hard to believe time flies so fast...........Axle was from Bear's very first litter.

Axle has always done well in the conformation ring, and has numerous Puppy, Junior and Working wins to his credit.   He was also the Canadian National Reserve Working Terrier Dog in 2000.  Now living in Texas, he doesn't get to as many shows as he used to, but still places consistently well when he does.

His puppies too are very consistent;  Axle is passing on the same head, bone and rear end that he and his sire possess.  He also seems to be able to throw a bit of color, particularly black & white, pulling from his dam's line.

Axle is co-owned with Bud Moomau and Michael Cain, and lives with Mike and his wife Julie of River Oaks Jack Russells in Texas, enjoying "top dog" status.
